Cat Training

Obedience * Problem Behavior Solutions * Tricks * Socialization

For Adult Cats and Kittens of any age.

Receive one-on-one training with just you, your cat, and your trainer in the comfort of your own home. Each private in-home training session typically lasts 45 minutes and is customized to suit your cat's individual training needs. To begin, you will first need to fill out our contact form on the right. From there, the Trainer will contact you to schedule a phone/zoom consultation where she will assess your cat's behavior and discuss training options with you.

30-Minute Phone/Zoom Consultation: $75 (best for problem behaviors)
* Many behavior concerns can be addressed effectively via phone or Zoom sessions. Due to the high demand for my services, i
n-home training is only offered after 2 phone/Zoom sessions have been attempted.
*Single Session In-Home: $125 (best for basic obedience/kitten or trick training and/or socialization training)

Basic Obedience Training: Do you want to set your kitty up for success? Teach your kitten or older cat basic commands and animal husbandry tricks to help your kitty live a good and stress free life! Cats who grow up knowing basic commands are calmer, easier to handle, and are capable of handling change and stress easier than cats who do not receive any kind of training. Life is full of change, so prepare your cat now for anything life may throw at it later!

Behavior Problem Solutions: sometimes good cats do not so good things and all you might need is a session or two to work on specific behavior issues.

Common Cat Behavior Problems Include:
  • Inappropriate Urination/Spraying
  • Aggression, Scratching or Biting
  • Not Getting Along With Other Pets
  • Scratching Furniture
  • Fearful/Shy Behavior
  • Issues at the Vet/Groomer

Since each cat is different and different behavior problems require different amounts of training, it is recommended that a consultation be done first either over the phone or via Zoom. Please be aware that some behavior problems may never ever be "cured" as in the case of severe aggression, but most cats can at least be rehabilitated to the point where they can be successfully managed and still be happy, functional parts of your family. Cats are also unique in that their living environment often has a large influence on their behavior, so purchasing cat-specific furniture or moving existing human furniture may be required to "Catify" your home.

So before you dump your cat, talk to me first! You might be surprised and find that the solution is simpler than you thought!
