Dog Training Courses

Level 1: Training Foundations & Leadership
Dogs with little or no previous training can sign up for this class at any time or age. Owners will learn how to establish and fine-tune their leadership skills, and dogs will learn foundation skills that they will build on throughout their journey towards becoming the perfect dog. In addition to learning basic commands, dogs and owners will also enjoy playing fun games and participate in relationship building exercises. Together with your trainer, you and your dog will work towards forming a happy, healthy, well-structured relationship that will last a lifetime!

Curriculum Includes: Sit, Stay, Lay Down, Take It/Leave It, Drop It, Loose Leash Walking, Come When Called, Potty Training and Crate Training.
Time: 
One-hour per week for four weeks.
Cost: 4 sessions for $550 (Includes Owner's Manual and Clicker)
Pre-requisites: 
All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, according to their age and veterinary requirements.

Note: 1st class is a mandatory Owner Orientation. NO DOGS will be present for the 1st class.
Level 2: Life Skills & Doggie Etiquette
This is the second class in our obedience training course series and should be taken after Level 1: Training Foundations & Leadership. This course builds on the foundation skills previously learned, while more difficult commands are introduced. Distractions, distance, and duration are increased substantially. Dogs will also be taught proper doggy manners to help you and your dog build a stronger relationship based on mutual respect for each other. And as always, fun games and activities are also a big part of the class!

Curriculum Includes: Place, Down/Stay for Guests Entering, Safe Greetings, Handling Exercises, Heel, Stop, Settle, Stand, Wait for Meals, Come and Sit, Wait at Thresholds, Sit at Curbs, Accepting Veterinary Exams, Socializing with Strangers and Close Proximity to Other Dogs.

One-hour per week for four weeks.
Cost: 4 sessions for $550
Pre-requisites
: Level 1-Training Foundations & Leadership. All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, according to their age and veterinary requirements.
Level 3: Canines in the Community
This class builds on the skills learned in previous classes with even more advanced commands introduced. This class is geared towards preparing dogs for life outside the home, in public, using real-life scenarios. After this class is completed, owners and their dogs will have the opportunity to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test! Dogs who pass this test will receive a title for your pet from the AKC and is the first step for dogs interested in doing therapy work or service dog training.

Curriculum Includes: Accepting Grooming/Baths, Accepting Injections and Giving Medications, Back Up, Move, Go to Bed, Jump Up/Down, Distance Sit/Stay and Down/Stay, Executing commands in public, Accepting Nail Trims, Accepting Car Rides, Accepting Rough Handling and Unfamiliar Objects. 
Time: 
One-hour per week for four weeks.
Cost: 4 sessions for $550
Pre-requisites: 
Level 1-Training Foundations & Leadership, and Level 2- Life Skills & Etiquette. All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, according to their age and veterinary requirements.​
